Containing 12 fantastic songs, the album comes from the jazz sequences of "the rythm changes". The album was developed when travelling around Europe in the early 90's. Songs inspired by life on the road and my learning of a whole load of new chords. It was the first time Jools had heard of "jazz numbers" 1625, 251 - these are chord changes commonly used in the style of jazz songs. It's a pop jazz album, probably the first to be named by todays category, maybe something like Steely Dan! Fast swing tempos, swing meets latin, hip-hop, with a hint of funk!
It was the 'Tribe Called somethings' second CD to be recorded and all using totally acoustic instruments. If you are interested in purchasing this album then please contact us for more details.
